This agreement applies between you, the User of this Website, and CSI University, the owner(s) of this Website. Your agreement to comply with and be bound by Clauses 1-7 of these Terms and Conditions is deemed to occur upon your first use of the Website. If you disagree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, you should stop using the Website immediately.

No part of this Website is intended to constitute a contractual offer capable of acceptance. Your order constitutes a contractual offer, and Our acceptance of that offer is deemed to occur upon Our sending a confirmation email to you indicating that your order has been accepted.

1. Course Requirements

A. The user must be at least 18 and have an HS Degree or GED equivalent.  The user must remain in good standing and adhere to the AAPC Code of Ethics.

. Required Code Books:
    a. ICD-10-CM, published in course year

C
. Computer with:
    a. High-speed Internet Access
    b. Adobe Acrobat Reader (free download available)
    c. For the best experience, the use of a mobile device is not recommended

2. Course Features

     a. The course start date is the first day of class/orientation.

     b. This online course, designed to be completed in 12 weeks, teaches fundamental risk adjustment coding skills and prepares students to take AAPC's CRC exam.

     c. If choosing the self-paced course, you should plan to complete the program in 12 weeks. You can purchase an additional one-month extension for a fee if needed.

. Enrollment in this class includes:

    a. Coverage of ICD-10-CM coding for all risk adjustment models (HCC, HHS-ACA, CDPS)

    b. Reading assignments, practice exercises, chapter reviews, module tests, and a final exam.

    c. Weekday online live group coaching required weekly one-on-one mentoring sessions with an instructor.

. CRC Certification Course Learning Objectives

    a. Students will be equipped to ensure that clinical documentation accurately portrays the patient’s health status and that all clinically documented diagnoses and comorbidities are appropriately reported.

. Certificate of Completion & CEUs

     a. If you hold an AAPC certification, you will earn 30 CEUs. You can apply these to your existing certification by completing this course. CEUs are one-time use only and satisfy requirements for all certifications except CPCO, CIRCC, CPMA, and specialty certifications.

. Successful completion of the CRC Certification Training Course requires:
  
     a. A passing score of 85% or higher on all chapter review exams.
     b. A passing score of 85% or higher on the final exam
     c. An overall final course score of 85% or higher.

H.
To receive a certificate of completion, students must meet the above requirements and complete the course within the allotted time frame.

3. Course Policy

     A. This 40-clock-hour course should be completed within 12 weeks, but you can purchase a one-month extension for a fee from the date of purchase. The date of purchase is considered your course start date, with additional time allotted for processing your order. You will receive email instructions on course access once your order is processed. 

     B
. The tuition includes 2 CRC exam vouchers valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

     C
. Membership is required to take any AAPC examination. A one-year membership is included in your tuition.

4. Terms & Conditions

     A. There is no guarantee of employment after completion of the course. You will be connected with career opportunities and development, but no guarantee is provided.

     B
. The content of the course is for individual use only. You are not permitted to copy, share, or create any AAPC or similar content to share with anyone or for widespread distribution and/or sale. Doing so will infringe on the copyrights of the AAPC.

5. Refund Policy

     A. If you cancel your purchase within 3 days, you will be refunded minus a $50 cancellation fee.

     B
. There will be no refunds after 3 days of purchase OR if the program has been started, accessed, viewed, or partially completed.

6. Withdrawl Policy

     A. There will be no refunds if the student withdraws, but they may keep the materials they accessed in their name.

7. Tips for Success

     A. Equipment Suggestion
     a. CSI suggests a double monitor system for optimum production. This is not a requirement but will be beneficial if implemented.
